I'm Yingjie Zhang, a computer enthusiast.
Starting in high school, I was obsessed with mathematics. Unlike many of my peers who struggled and often felt confused by mathematics, I thrived. I felt confident and found joy in it.
Upon entering university, my passion for mathematics naturally drew me towards machine learning. At that time, deep learning was already popular. Eager to explore, I joined my professor's lab to research deep learning for helping patients with Alzheimer's disease.Additionally, I participated in Kaggle competitions, winning both gold and silver medals.
Beyond machine learning, what brings me even more joy is web development and learning algorithms. Although I had no prior experience in these areas during my undergraduate studies, I now devote nearly all my time to mastering algorithms and building websites. This self-driven pursuit has not only expanded my skills but also fueled my passion for technology.
Currently, I am actively seeking a software development engineer role to further explore exciting technologies. Though I haven't yet got an interview and the job market is still challenging, I'm not discouraged. I believe perseverance pays off, and I'm committed to preparing myself thoroughly to be the best candidate possible.
